Favorite Restaurant??

Sparks is ok just don't loiter out front too long.......Didn't work out to well for Paul Castellano

its funny , every time they mentioned that murder on tv they give sparks a plug

i heard the name for years but never thought to go there

one day a friend invited me there , the steak was great

.

I'm just around the corner from Bob's and it's great. Also Nick & Sam's Chop House is another local spot here in Dallas that i hit up once a week.

Forget Mulberry St. it's a tourist trap. Across Canal is a place called Forlinis' The decor hasn't changed since the 60's but it's about the food.

I got engaged there. Twice :sifone:

Im not a huge fan of high end restrants as many of the ones that I have been to are huge on upscale environment and rediculous food presentation all for a so so meal. One of my personal favorites is Key Fisheries in Marathon, no elaborite scenerey but the seafood doesnt get any fresher.

One other problem that I have with eating at restaurants and bars in general is the fact that I'm dating an obsessive compluslive cook who was rasied the daughter of a chef/ food broker. Everytime I have a great meal at a restaurant she figures out how to duplicate it, if not make it even better. While I shoulnt be complaining, it really takes a lot of fun out of eating out.

God help me the day I take her to Ruth's Chris.

Never have eaten at Joe's Stone Crab in South Beach, was there but it looked like a tourist trap...is it really any good?

Steak House Chains..

1. Capital Grille
2. Morton's
3. Ruth's Chris

The Smith and Wolensky's in South Beach does have some nice views.

Ruth's makes a great steak, but I can do better. Don't complain Tony, very few women can cook that well - if at all!

Morton's is great too.

My vote for a meal under $20 is PF Changs.

Anybody ever eaten at one of Gordon Ramsby's restaurants??? I'd like feedback.

You guys in New York probably know this with all the true Italian families there, but if you go over to Europe, make sure you eat in any family run Italian restaurant. The entire family serves you, the food can't be any fresher or delicious! Chinese restaurants in Europe are excellent too - I mean the ones with the ducks hanging in the window.
