Exhaust manifold inst. Gasket/sealer?

Replacing an exhaust manifold on a 454 Merc. mag. Got the gaskets,, Any one or should I use any gasket sealer to seal the small imperfactions in the block? Smal pit holes? or just the silver gasket. Double gasket the thing?

I would not double gasket the thing,,,use some gasket sealer (high temp.), or fill the little pit holes with JB weld, let try and sand flush !!!

Just use the gasket. It is thick enough to seal any small imperfections.
