Ever had this to eat ?

It's a regional name for a kind of cake, couldn't believe it the first time I saw it on a menu over there.:sifone:

Trust me they have some stuff you really wouldnt want to eat. Haggis and Blood pudding are two that spring to mind.:ack2:

True that! My EX is English. Trust me, there is only one dish I like from England - steak and kidney pie. But a greasy fish-cake after gettin' pissed in the pubs helps the impending hangover... :ack2:

I really like the curry served at the Take away Chinese, goes great with a stomach full of English beer:cheers2:
 
so know I sort of know what it looks like, I had a Chrismas part and an English couple were coming and that became the joke of what they were bringing

Shepard's Pie is one of my favorites. Bangers and Mash can be pretty good if the sausage is quality. Fish and Chips is good at many British pubs in Broward County. Is it really "kidney"?
