I'm working today...

Fun stuff- 1st job was 1.5 hour drive!

Only 5 more 5 days after today til I'm off on a 3 day weekend.

New attitude- happy to have a job and my company is not looking for a bailout so everyone can tell me I'm not worth what they pay me

I know this is gonna be a shocker ... it includes alcohol :sifone: The ex's newest girlfriend left some Smirnoff Ice Strawberry Acai in the fridge when I was in Key West and I decided she must not be coming back to get it so Im drinkin it. Not bad. Little too fizzy for my taste but I like the bottle:26:

Yea... I would complain about it but trying to stay positive about having a job considering the economic pain going around.

1 Sat and 1 Sun every 13 weeks so not too bad; 3-4 a year depending on how the days fall. I get to pick which ones for the most part (union rules pick by seniority). Our pay period is Sun-Sat so I work Tues-Sat and then Sun-Thurs so 3 day weekend, 10 days straight and 3 day weekend.

By the time you slow down, get off exit, pee, accel and get back on interstate it is at elast 15 minutes.

28 stops is 7 hours. 21 hours to cover 1685 miles. 80MPH average- you were speeding mister!

They didn't need to go that often, just seemed like it. I think we stopped about 10 times, 5 times for gas and food. I try to average at least 60 mph with stops. Longest it every took was about 40 hours, bad snow storm around Chicago, the shortest was 22 hours.
