Yes we will be there....Lee is going on her first "fun run". We have room for a couple more but fair warning the ride wont be the same as the Party-yacht I only slow down when I start seeing stress cracks.

Brian I am glad to hear you are going, Lee can party with us and if the ride gets to rough for her she can swap seats with fundraiser

Hey guys - I'm finally back on here. I think it's been over a week which is probably a record for me. I'm not sure what I've been doing, but I just haven't seemed to make it here.
For what it's worth, I agree with MM about the thread (though Barb is right that it is what we make it). I've found myself going back to OSO just to read the thread over there.
So in that interest....
Chief - glad you've got things running. I know how frusterating it is to watch a half hour job take forever. Tony finally has the entire dash wired (and it works! lights included!). The only thing left up there is the throttles. Then all we need is the oil thermostats in and the second engine and exhaust in. I keep crossing my fingers that we're going to make it in time. If we do our run on someone else's boat again we'll never hear the end of it!
Also - anyone ever heard of tree roaches? Apparently my neighbor (who also has her condo up for sale) had them in her place. A prospective buyer came to look at both of our places and saw hers first (and spotted the roaches). She didn't even bother to look at mine after that. I haven't seen anything in mine, but I sprayed near the doors and baseboards just to be safe.
I was in Mentor last week and you should be glad your boat wasn't in the water yet. I would have showed up, hat in hand asking for a ride
Hey Donzi. Hope that your birthday was good. Never heard of tree roaches. I have been working on the boat a lot too. Pretty soon I will be out in front of the engine building. It should start coming together soon. I am shooting for early july now. I have been busy with work and stuff around the house too. Hopefully things will calm down at work soon.

We're taking off Friday for Seattle and coming back the 14th from San Francisco. Seeing relatives in Seattle and Portland for a couple days, wedding for niece in Albany, OR. Then down the coast to San Francisco.

Yes sent e-mail last week and registered yesterday. New XR's with Imco shorties going on this weekend.... hoping to join the 90 mph club. When she screams slow down I will take you up on the offer if John is up to it but he will have to stay seated because he will cause to much wind resistance.:sifone:

Have not hear back from Phragle about the run yet, guess I will have to give him a call.
Brian have you spoke to Chris (Active Thunder) recently, is he going, I was wondering if Donna was back from her airline training. Do you guys sleep on the boat or do you go home. The steak roast at the Monroe Boat club is great, they usually have really high quality large strip steaks with all the fixings. We plan on arriving Friday evening so we will be there both nights. I just hope the weather is decent and the wind is not blowing to hard. I think this has been one of the most windy springs I remember. Although it seems like the last few years have been windy, the hell with global warming, it global blowing that I am concerned about:biggrinjester:

Paul your trip sounds like fun, hope you don't have an earthquake, I was watching storm stories or one of those shows on the weather channel this weekend and they were talking about Seattle and how there is an earthquake brewing there that is going to be significant.

I forgot to comment on this yesterday since it seems like you all like to read about what's happening with those of us that post content, I had an idea. If you read this thread and like to bam that's OK but how about making at least one post a week on something you are up to. This way it's not just a few of us telling our tales. That means you David, Tracy, Paul, Brian we want to know what you guys are up to, I think you all have wives or sig. others you can talk about on occasion.
