Chicks, Chips & Boats

LOL better than blowing around.

Wore some winter gear today...2 t-shirts this morning. It was kinda cool out.

I was outside tonight, t-shirt, turtle neck sweater, hooded sweatshirt plus a coat and flannel lined jeans. 16 and windy. Just wait till this weekend.:)

I only tease because I spent most of my life enduring long cold winters.

My winter wear used to be thermal, t shirt sweat shirt and down vest, hat scarf and a variety of gloves.

Maybe some people from way down south in Ohio can explain a cold winter, you know when it gets to the really cold 30s:biggrinjester:

I didn't pick the pic for cold it was just a easy to find snow pic. Here is another where the pond was froze. The beaver kept a clear spot.

I know cold is relative. 6 to 8 weeks below freezing is cold enough for me. Oh no thanks, I'm over it.

Anybody have a remote car starter? Since I cant afford a garage, I think thats my next best bet. I am so spoiled. Back when I got married, I told the ex that the first thing we had to do to the house was build a big garage and have garage door openers .... and central air. Two things I didnt want to live without :D Ah life ..... how things change ......

Did I tell you guys the kid called the other night to tell me she decided she was going to take a semester off so she could work full time and save up some money? I said "Noooooooo. #1 as soon as you take off all your student loans become due so its not going to save you any money and #2 its not your job to worry about paying it, its mine so why the sudden concern" She said "well my mom gave up the house she loves so I can go to college so I want to do what I can" Ahhhh aint that sweet .. but I told her to knock it the F off cuz I actually like the smaller house .. that I'd probably be depressed in that big house by myself so just deal with the grades ......

Sooooooo..... Daughter just called all wound up. She just found out shes got a 96.57% in one of her classes that she thought she had a B in:D Pretty cool. Makes it a lot easier to pay when shes doin so good.

Yep - his name is Tony :D

I really want a garage. Yes, we have an enormous barn but that isn't a garage. I also want central air. That's on the to do list soon. When I start working from home full time, it's a must for me. I HATE putting in the window air conditioner. I almost killed Tony and myself trying to carry it down the basement.

Hehe .... The old house had one garage stall when we moved in ... it was attached ...but you had to go outside to get to it. So I ripped a hole in a wall, put in a door and some steps ... wasnt that difficult or expensive and made the thing way more user friendly. Was even better when we added the other two stalls. You know .... I really dont miss the house like I thought I would but I do miss the garage. :blush5:
