Chicks, Chips & Boats

So what's new with everyone, Donzi you out there, how's the wedding plans coming, Scarab how far are you from Waukesha (sp?) Good Morning America surprised a family there and did the show from their home today. Fund and Jann what did you do with all the leftovers, did your and the Wrinks have Steak and eggs on Sunday morning:D Offshore Rescue, I think I remember something about you being in hospital, how are you doing? David, I am curious what do you do for work?, I need to have as much free time as you do:)

my left arm has been hurting for a month so I finally went to the or tho doc yesterday, he said I most likely have a SLIGHT tear in the rotator cuff and it should heal with therapy. I asked for an MRI anyway because I want to be certain, so I get that next Friday. I start therapy on Thursday and go three times a week. I wish it was just a pulled muscle but at least it does not look like the problem is severe.

Ouch. I stretched a biceps tendon once and it hurt (burned) like crazy.

We didn't have too much beef leftover, we managed to eat about 15 pounds of ribeye. :D Had plenty of veggies and salads. Note to self: feed perf boaters steak and alcohol. :D
I meant to do baked potatoes too, and got busy and forgot. :D

The Pythagorean theorem: The sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square on the hypotenuse (c).Trigonometry
In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem (American English) or Pythagoras' theorem (British English) is a relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle (right-angled triangle – British English). The theorem is usually written as an equation:

where c represents the length of the hypotenuse, and a and b represent the lengths of the other two sides. In words:

The square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares on the other two sides.[1]

The Pythagorean theorem is named after the Greek mathematician Pythagoras, who by tradition is credited with its discovery and proof,[2] although it is often argued that knowledge of the theory predates him. (There is much evidence that Babylonian mathematicians understood the principle, if not the mathematical significance).

:)

Even people with Diplomas screw that up.....

SYMPLIFIED........

....The square of the Hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

In the old days.......Catholic nuns beat that into your head!!!!

Yep I'm still out here!

Wedding plans are coming along. Got tuxes picked out and met with the music guy at church. I've got the readings and music all done pretty much. I also have invitations kind of done. We're making our own and I have all the materials bought. now I just need to invite over friends who are crafty and good at assembling stuff (not my forte!) and put them together.

Scarab(Wayne) is about 50 miles north of Waukesha, I'm about 70.

I tore both my rotator cuffs, my advice is do your therapy! If it's a small tear it shouldn't really bother you as long as you learn what not to do. There are some exercises that will make it flair up so get do's and don'ts of working out.

did your's heal with therapy or did you have surgery. With therapy can a small tear heal on it's own?

Tony in a tux, not that will be a picture I can't wait to see:biggrinjester:

If it is a small tear yes it will heal with time and exercise.
With mine it would get better with therapy then I would do shoulder presses with free weights using a bar and hurt them all over again. About 3 years ago I got bucked off a horse and completely tore the shoulder, partial tear of the pec, full tear of the rear and tore the tendon off the bone on top, and that required surgery and alot of therapy.

Oh man. And a lot of pain. Wow.:(

Offshore Rescue, I think I remember something about you being in hospital, how are you doing? .

I am doing very well actually (thanks for asking). I was only in the hospital for 3 days. I had surgery on my right arm to replace the prosthetic elbow that I had put in 12 years ago. Apparently when you get one of these things racing 4-wheelers on a National circuit is a bad idea. :ack2:

I broke the Prosthetic up inside the Humerus. It was a 4 hour surgery, they had to split the bone in order to get the broken piece out, with 2 more days of pain management. Now its Occ Therapy once a week. I should be out of my brace just in time for Ocean City. :sifone:
