Chicks, Chips & Boats

I have been summoned 4 times. Last time I served on a County trial. Defendant hit his boss. He stated he thought his boss was going to hit him, so he hit first. He wasn't afraid of his boss. That was his defense....You can't put your hands on another human being........Unless they strike first.:boxing_smiley:

He was guilty.........

My father sat on a Capital Murder trial..rape/murder. Was sequestered for 2 weeks. Thats a long time to a kid......

That's extremely rare. Did you get picked today?

I liked jury duty. Make that LOVED jury duty!!!

Courthouse is 2 blocks from my house. I walked there, sat in a room for about 40 minutes and then the let me go home. 2 days in a row and then was off duty. What's not to like? I'd even go if they put me on the cases- better than surfing the web and watching TV all day at work as well without the 20 mile commute.

Wonder how I can increase my chances of getting picked more often?

I didn't mind, either. This is the side of the process I!!!!!! want to be on! :sifone:
I was kept in the jury office for 2 hours, in case they discharged a potential juror.

It IS my Constitutional Right..........I liked being a part of keeping things 'above board'. :USA:

Take it from a guy who has been sued and gone threw a jury trial. This is a BIG part of our judicial system that we should take very seriously. I was very impressed with the quality of jurors we had in our trial. I may not have felt this way had I lost, but I didn't. And those 12 people were smart enough to see threw the BS, and do the right thing. I would be proud to serve of Jury duty given the chance.

Getting awful touchy feeley here, what up?

Anyone want to work on a boat?

I'm already working on a boat (ok, I'm supporting Rob while he's working on stuff I can't help with....but I have my work cut out for me).

Anyone wanna get touchy, feeley????:biggrinjester::rofl: Sorry BB, I just had to go there.
