BB second out of two entries, way to go, that reminds me of the year I spent golfing before I met Ian. I took it up because of business reasons and the big industry association in my area had an outing every year. I golfed in it and got this big azz trophy for best womens average, I took it to our next sales meeting to brag as a joke, the sales force was mostly guys and all big golfers. It was funny because they all wanted to know how many people golfed at the outing and I told them about 100, they were sort of impressed and thought I was a good golfer, but the dummies never asked how many WOMEN were at the outing, so I never told them just 2:biggrinjester:

I am so glad today is Friday, I have been on a medicine for 10 days where I could not drink alcohol, if I did they said I would get very sick. As of now it has been about 28 hours since I took the last pill, so by this evening I will be able to have a glass of wine. Yeah life is good.
 
Ms PY it was actually 2nd out of about 30.

I'm still planning on heading back north April 24th, then Scarab and I are driving back down the following weekend to pick up her car. Then the daughter and wife will fly down for prom. That's the plan as of now.

Thanks for all the marrige comments, it was the first thing that crossed my mind, well what's a few more gray hairs:)

I'm going to Philly this weekend. Morimoto sushi will be in my belly tonight!

The word "wedding" should steer very clear of "P" words- Prom, Preggers, Parents over for dinner, Poppa BBB and if you have daughters there another word that I can't recall right now (thought saying it was on the tip of my tounge would not be good timing..).

They lied! I didn't get sick when I was told not to. But, it's not a good idea to drink alcohol when on antibotics, but I did push the envelope to see if I was going to be sick. :sifone:
 
I try to go some place 3-5 days a month when it's not boating season in Maryland. Everyone likes going on long vacations (and so do I..) but many would be suprised how much fun you can have within a few hours drive (well at least if you live in the North East, USA).

Philly is 160 miles/3ish hours and has a ton of stuff to see and do! Might be my last trip now that (yippeee!!) boating season is upon us.

My ^%#$@ marina put my boat outside last week (I got a call today from a buddy of mine that saw it outside) after I paid for indoor storage until 4/1. New guy (who was the old guy years ago) is pissing me off already- just had my entire boat detailed end of last season so she would be nice and clean...

Rg - very glad you slammed your date against a locker. I can definitely see you doing that!

Prom dresses can be expensive. The only one I ever really spent money on was for my senior prom. We always had Christmas dance and prom. I went to all four (2 each year). I think the most fun I had was the year I went solo with my friends! The rest of my friends lent me their bf's to dance with :)



Does anybody know anything about starting a garden from seeds? I want a garden and Tony is insisting we start from seeds. So, per the directions on the back of the packages, I planted them a week or so ago in potting soil in the house. I"m thinking it might have been a bit too soon for the beans and the zuuchini...


PS. Barb hope everything goes ok for your daughter. Those are scary results to get back.

You may have some really big zuuchini to plant in a month or so. Everything else should be okay.

For those who don't eat sushi, it's like drinking wine. You start out with the sweet crap (White Zin = California Rolls) and gradually work yourself up to a dry red (Velvety Cab = Raw fish wrapped in seaweed or Eel).

You don't know what you'rem missing. At least eat a few rolls!

The doctors office called and left me a vm that all my tests came back negative and to call if I had questions. Since I had three tests and one was sent to a differnt lab, I thought I would call and check. It cracks me up that these girls that answer the phone can be so rude, She said YES all the results were negative, that's what we told you on the message, well sure enough when I asked which one, it turns out to only be the one near my belly button, the ones from my face were not back yet. Oh well the one on my belly was the one they were more concerned with.

Maybe that's why you have no competition in filter sales. The rude girls all went to work for the doctors...

I know I usually push it at least a little but this one is used or some of the ingredients are used to keep alcoholics from drinking. My friend is a pharmacist, he said that this is one you really don't want to drink with, it makes you very sick to your stomach, some of the info says don't even take medicines like cough syrup, and to wait as long as three days. My doc say 24hours so I am going by him:) This one is called Flygl or something like that, is that the one you used.

Yes it is. I didn't over do it I must admit. But, I was on that the week of our sales meeting in January and well, since I was already scheduled to be away from Rob for 7 days, figured it was a good time to take it since it clearly tells you......no sex.........no alcohol.

One out of two ain't bad! :biggrinjester:
