I think Tony thinks we're nuts trying to flip the page over to the next one. He was a little pouty anyway on Sunday. He told me to put as much wedding stuff in one weekend as possible so he would have to make as few trips as possible. I don't think he realized how much I could squeeze into one weekend... :D

top a the morning to you, it's gonna be a beautiful day here, high 60's and sunny, can't wait to get out side, walk and try to run at lunch time, then back out after work for another walk and then a bike ride, can't wait...........

a sad story on the news this morning, 4 high school kids from St. Clair Shores were pulling into a mall last night around 8 when a drunk lady broadsided them. 3 of the kids died and the high school driver is in critical condition. The lady was not seriously injured and of course will be facing some serious charges. What a terrible tragedy. That's a big boating area so we know a lot of people, it's where one of the offshore races will take place this summer. I checked the Lake St Clair Network but no one is talking about it yet. Every time something like this happens I realize why my parents had trouble sleeping when ever I went out, and how hard it must be to start giving your kids freedom. It's just so sad for all those families.
 
Sorry to hear about the kids. News like that bums me out. My friend Laura died in a head on collision her junior year. Old man went (L) of center....

Tragic........
 
I want a jigs dinner....good thing everyones got it today. Of course, you can only eat it once a year due to the gas it puts out.....:D
 
slow day in here,

the 4th kid in the car died, they said the woman was over twice the legal limit and has had a long history with alcoholism and was at someones house and they tried to get her not to drive.

This morning at 8 AM when I was leaving the gym I was stopped at a light on the south side of a small divided road waiting to make a left (west) turn on to a very busy road. All of a sudden a car that had been heading west on the eastbound side of the busy road turns left/south, however he goofs and instead of turning into the south bound lane to the left of me, he turns and heads toward me. Luckily he was going slow, I start beeping and waving my hands, he looks up clueless, like he saw me for the first time, never realizing he is on the wrong side of the road, going the wrong way. Not knowing what to do he continues the wrong way (on my left) and when he gets behind me, crosses over the grass median on his right and gets on the correct side. They were an older black couple well dressed with hats, the woman put her hands up in the air, like oh well. I even had to chuckle a bit, I have a feeling he was not familiar with the area and thought he was turning into a parking lot instead of a small divided road. But thinking about it, what if he was traveling faster, had several drinks and it was dark, the outcome could have been pretty different.
