Chicks, Chips & Boats

I do, wow that seems like along time ago. Zudnic? He was going to meet me at EAA for the airshow a couple of years ago, when it was getting closer he stopped posting and nothing. I know the year before he was coming to the air show and his dad got real sick on the way and they never made it. I checked on OSO a couple times when I still had my membership and he hadn't posted or visited in forever.

His last post was 3/18/08. I'm still active over there. You want me to email him for ya?

sure, and tell him about SOS. Do you know they have only had about 3 posts in the bilge since yesterday.

Dawn did someone call to let you know the dog was stuck, does the she stay outside when you are not home? What a hassle. I remember this one time when we still had a cat, she got outside right before we were leaving on a vacation and got in an opening about 8" high under a neighbors deck and would not come out. There was no way we could get under there, we had treats and kept calling her to no avail. We finally got about 6 people to keep pouring water down through the cracks of the deck to make her creep up to the edge. We almost missed our flight, it was very stressful.

The daughter is still home from college. She goes back this weekend. Unfortunately, Im the only one around here who can fit under the porch... besides Cami :D The kids DD's keeps her from venturing under there :ack2:

So .... while I was dirty and under the porch, I decided to go around to the other side and let the neighbors cat out  Apparently she was under there when I closed up the hole over the weekend :leaving: I could hear her meowing .. probably why Cami was trying to get over there too :sifone:

Really?:biggrinjester:

Ha - you know the saying ..... eight is enough

Soooooo ... among the other stuff ..... the ex brought me a tread mill. Seems he heard about the eating the whole apple pie incident and thought I'd be able to use it since I participate in no other forms of exercise :boxing_smiley:

Nobody's posting in the bilge because it cost money!

The roads were ok but you wouldn't have known that from the way the idiots were driving this morning.

You know ... its that kinda stuff that makes me wonder .... you know ... the what put them at that particular place at that particular moment to make such a tragic thing happen. I know Ive told you guys on the other thread on the other site about September 13 ... a Friday ... back when I was in 3rd grade and the drunk guy hit my mom and dads house .... driving into my bedroom. I should have been killed but ....the events that led up to that moment and I wasnt in my bedroom..... I think I'll call Dad and see if he is bored enough to scan those pics in so I can show you guys.

I worry about accidents with Ian, he drives fast no matter what the conditions are, he's a good driver but not everyone else is and you hear about so many things, a few days ago on I 75 on Ian's way home from work a guy pulled off the expressway to change a flat and someone smashed into him, killing him and ripping him to shreds, several of the guys that left work ahead of Ian saw the accident and the mangled body. A friends 19 yr old niece came to live with her and attend college, it was a Sunday evening and raining, she went to meet a friend to study and decided to take side roads and not the freeway because of the rain. Well someone ran a stop sign and killed her. Oh and RG when Ian was about 18 he went Windsor to drink because it was legal there, he was driving on a curve and missed it and smashed into someones house, it was a small house and he said he knocked if off it's foundation. He was lucky he or no one else was hurt.

I am not sure if I told everyone that he got a motor cycle this summer. He started wanting it the year before and I pretty much put my foot down and said no, I even told him it would put our marriage in serious trouble if he did. Well he did not say much more about it and then one day this summer he came home with a new bike, I was so mad I started throwing his beer cans out the front door at him and his friend. I came very close to knocking the bike over. We did not speak for a while, but I really did not know what to do, I swear I was so angry that if we would have sold our house I might be single now. It's the first thing that I really told him he could not have but it did not matter. His excuse was he was saving money since he rode it to work. He rides well, but it's not him I worry about, it's the bozos that don't know how to drive around motorcycles, or the drivers on cell phones and even texting while driving that I worry about, plus he goes to work a lot when it is still dark, and then sometimes it winds up raining and the roads are slick. I get pizzed just typing about it.
