Chicks, Chips & Boats

Ditto.. pretty uneventful (no hangover) here as well which is kind of nice.

Had the grouper at Bonefish grill last night- I love grouper...and Bang Bang Shrimp. I've eaten there 3 times in the last 7 days- wonder if they think I'm casing the joint. Fish- part of my new diet..time to slim down for the wedding.

Swimming has been proven to be one of the best exercises. Builds cardio, muscle, strength and endurance without the shock to the joints of other exercises. Too bad I don't swim I guess.

:sifone:

Hump Day- sweet, except I have to work Sunday so kind of puts a damper on the upcoming weekend. The weekend after that is Vegas where I'm going to hit it BIG this year!

So we are going to get snow on Saturday but the weather guys aren't saying how much. They are tired of being wrong so don't even put any guesses out there any more. I heard up to a foot but none of them have any thing posted. Trying to send a queer to Mars but can't tell me my local forecast?

Hello from Annapolis! Well, Edgewater really, but still, it ain't New stinking Hampshire! I really don't want to hear this snow talk, especially if it happens BEFORE we get into a house. Back to looking today. But we also have to find a mechanic, sounds like I have a bearing going in the front passenger side of my car. I swear, if it isn't one thing, it's another. Hope everyone is doing well!

Welcome back to MD- I see you brought snow with you?!? WTF, thanks... LOL!

Got some boat parts back yesterday so that cheered me up!

Just freshened my dash panels and toggle switches. Same colors as before but they were going on their 3rd season so wanted to put new boots on which turned in to getting the dash panels repainted to look like new as well.

I'm hoping to get a deal on a Garmin 4210 after the new stuff comes out at the Miami show- keep your eyes out for me? I don't need the wiring, just the main screen and then will sell my 3210 without wiring or with the wiring that comes with the 4210 after that. I sure wish the new stuff came in 10" sizes vs either 8" or 12"+...

The before and then where I put the super glue to to hold the breaker light in place where it reacted with the paint to make it look chipped.

8+ inches of snow with 2-4 more on the way (guessing)

Thanks Ange for bringing that northern weather with you! ;)

I have a new neighbor-

9/11/09- we moved in, 1st house in neighborhood of 19.

12/18/09- 2nd neighbor moved in; was weekend we got 16 inches of snow! He is 43, 2 young daughters and a widower.

1/29/10- new neighbor moved in, 8 inches of snow on the ground with 2-3 more coming. I may go shovel her driveway to say HI but she's not living there yet. Single lady in hate 40's with a 12 year old daughter, heard she is a widower as well.

Wonder what's up with the widowers- hope I'm not one, or better yet hope my wife-to-be is not going to be one!

Out of 19, only 3 to 7 of them have optional elevator floor plans. We got it, the other 2 that sold were elevator floor plans but they didn't get it- they are walk in closets instead. 3 story houses with main living on 2nd floor. New neighbor put $329K down so I know $$ was not an issue, wonder if it was a bad option to get ($30K)? Then again, she skipped out on a lot of options we have (molding, trim, etc) so may just be how she rolls.

I need a new car. Putting it off as long as I can. Not ready for a car payment. :ack2: It's been two years not having one and I love that.

Haven't had a payment in six years and looks like we may be able to pull this off without one this time.
Went looking today, but didn't like what's out there. Lori would really like a Camery, but now that there's a recall hold on sales that may not be an option.

:USA: Buy American.....How about the 2010 Camero :driving:

US Toyota Camrys are built in Georgetown, KY. Some of the west coast ones are built in Japan (VIN starts with a V) and shipping through Long Beach, CA. I know- all that $ goes back to the home land but really it goes to any one owning stocks. I'm with you on the buy American thing, just saying...plus they didn't need a bailout so I'd own one.

Ford Fusion would be my choice for that size/price.

I don't buy new. Let some else take the beating. I look at lease returns. 2-3 years old and the biggest percentage of depreciation behind them. Lori's STS was leased by a law firm. Every option available. Paid 60% less then what it sold for 3 years prior.

They last with very little trouble.
Fusions have a little rear alignment problem that likes to make them fish tail on slick roads.
