Chip was interiewed for the news the first time he got bit. He said he'd been surfing Ponce 40 years, and it was the first time we was bitten, so he figured once in 40 years wan't bad. He said he appologised the the shark, because it wasn't the shark's fault. He and the shark came to an understanding. He got bitten again the next weekend! I have the news article here somewhere.

Surfer's ain't right in the head. He took his surfboard and his best surfing buddy on his honeymoon to Hawaii! That's no lie! It needs to be said that his wife is an ex Ms Hawaiian Tropic. HT is headquartered out of Daytona.
 
Cuda you are to funny, I love your stories. I actually like making a weekend out of our boating, that's why we have the mondo condo, it's got a queen size Vbunk and stand up head. Driving a distance to a launch is not a northern thing, even in Fl some have a long tow to get to a good spot. And on a side note, we don't have to worry about sharks or manatees. just cold weather, storms, and clouds:biggrinjester:

Why it's a German Pretzel making Party:lurk5: (no pretzel smillies:rofl:) My friend Nicole is from Germany and she always brings these hot German Pretzels
to parties. They are shaped like little rolls, they are very good and everyone loves them. So at my Red Wings party I suggested we have a girls night at her place with wine and pretzel making. She made the dough ahead since it has to have a chance to rise, we will boil then bake the pretzels and will also make fresh dough to take home. Of course when I had the idea it was not the hottest day of the year like today is. I made this yummy asian chicken, to put in a fresh spinach salad with strawberries, and some homemade candied walnuts. I am bringing it to the party so we can have a healthy dinner and not eat six pretzels a piece and get a tummy ache:ack2:

Fund and JJ you met Nicole's husband on our boat last time.

That sounds good. I made brownies today and wish I hadn't started up the oven!


I took today off since we went to the Offspring concert last night (which was really good btw) and I had all these plans to work in the yard today. I weeded the garden a little, weeded one flower bed and mulched it. Then I gave up. It's just too darn hot!

I'll admit the room might have spun a little when I went to bed. Apparently they ran out of rum and Tony isn't sure what they put in my drinks after that but it did me in!

I slept in until 10 so not much of a hangover.

Hey you guys. Paul and David, so what's going on in your lives these days?????

Paul are you planning on attending the St Clair race. Fund and JJ plan on going and I was thinking about getting an area at the St Clair Inn to meet up for a SOS race viewing party
 
I convinced myself to go back out and work in the garden when Tony got home. He made me feel guilty by starting to weed. I finished up my other flower bed with mulch and then weeded out there some more. I want a smaller garden!
 
I think I'm ready for the weekend. We need to find a puppy sitter. The local kennel is full so we're going to have to ask Tony's parents.

Did you say your boat was full? Who all do you have riding with you? I wish ours was done but it isn't worth Tony killing himself over it.

In other words theres gonna be 3 smucks making excuses as to why their boats arent done yet/;)

I talked to Doug Sullivan earlier. If he comes then 3 of the coolest Cigs on the plannet (IMO) will be at our little soiree.
