Chicks, Chips & Boats

They will be playing in Cleveland on my birthday (tomorrow) too. We really wanted to see them, but I'm not paying $130 per ticket as the bottom price to see them.

There is nobody that good that's worth that kind of money to see.

Last saw them in late '76 or early '77 (Gettin kind of hard to remember that far back)

Wasn't going to go, but were given tickets as a gift so we're going tomorrow night at the "Q"

By the way...Happy Birthday!

It's easier to put on two wax rings to make up the difference in height. Word of experience here.

If you're sure you have a positive seal with the wax rings, put a penny or two under each corner of the base to stabilize, and caulk it well to keep in place and seal.

May not be the best solution, but a plumber showed me that years ago when we had one wiggle a little on a job site.

Caulk won't make it stable. I use one wax ring with a pcv piece that fits down the pipe, and a regular wax ring, then I sit on the toilet backwards and wiggle the toilet until it is flush with the floor. I've never had one leak. Being in the tile business, I've done more of them than I care to remember.

Nah, the turd grabbers (plumbers) did it. It's from back when I did residential. I sure didn't want one leaking down on the condo below!
That's better. I need a residential tile guy. I could do it, but I see tile as one of those things that just cause you CAN do it doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Same with drywall finishing. It's like.... how much do you want to sand? :D

I frigging hate drywall finishing. Why do you think I learned tile? :)

My band is (ok, maybe I'm a little biased). :sifone:

But, we're free to see (and usually right in your backyard). :biggrinjester:

You know you could give me those given tickets you received for a BD gift. I wouldn't tell a soul! :biggrinjester:

Thanks Rich! :)
