As a candidate for a department head level job at a nationally ranked children's hospital with a 10 million dollar annual goal and 8 direct reports.... I wore a suit.
I got the job. In jeans? It would have been a short meeting.
I am commenting on how it is... as I think Donzi was. I am not commenting on how it should be.
Ah! You got me! I'm actually Loretta Sanchez! :26:
I do corporate tax sh*t. Not tax returns, haven't even done my own returns in a decade (wife does 'em that's her gig)... Just something totally esoteric. I'm like a race team's cylender head guy. You never see him, you never hear about him and he doesn't pay attention to anything but the flow bench...
And for the record, several days a week, I'm working from an "office" that's basically a store room on the side of my garage wearing shorts, flipity-flops and a Pantera T-shirt (boat or band I guess) or possibly a hawaiian shirt with funnycars on it.
Of course people don't know that when they're talking to me on the phone...

Dawn - I don't know if you saw this in the post or not, but I did say that it was if the people had compairable resumes/skills. I wouldn't go for someone that was obviously deficeit just because they had a suit on.
Depending on the job, a suit is appropriate in interviews. Just that many of my peers are decked out in sportcoats and suits (almost always sans tie though, which is funny) while milling around the office....

Ya I got that. I just think picking the one with the nicer suit would be the same as picking the skinnier one .... cuz you know ... a lot of people assume the heavier person is lazier. I just dont think that way ... Was surprised you did. Like Fund said ... its the way most people think ... I normally find you to think outside the box. I like that about you :blush5:
I've seen some video. Crazy stuff. Remind me of the crackerbox guys I've seen run out here. Gotta love someone who's not afraid to break thier has to have a good time!

I was offered a ride at one of the races ... um no ... like I said ... I like a little more boat between me and the water ... and a little more boat between me and the motor :sifone:
