I think the temporary change to the post of the boat ramp thread, people lost interest. Hopefully going back to the original POTW, things will get back to normal.
 
Back from Kroger. Stayed inside budget!!!!! Baking a chicken, cuz the chicken reciepe sounded good. So the menu is:roasted whole chick, mashed taters, green bn. cassarole, app is stuffed mush caps and moose tracks (reg & mint) ice cream. Small containers!

My daughter calls the recipe Dad's Chickens on fire, I forgot to put the drip pan under it and came inside and she was screaming cause the flames were leapin up about 6 feet and the grill cover was on!:eek:

MMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm home cookin' smells wafting thru the house, 3 days of left overs. Like Thanksgiving without the relatives........
 
I went to the Crime and Punishment Museum in DC yesterday. John Walsh produces his America's Most Wanted show there. Pretty cool stuff!!

Then to DC Chophouse (like a Ruth's Chris but better) for dinner.

This was "Restaurant Week"- $20.09 for lunch and $35.09 for dinner all week long! Sweet- I love a good meal at a bargain...
