It is not banning the sale of the bike because they are bikes, they are banning the sale of lead containing items to children. As long as the manufactures can prove that no lead is in the acessible areas of the product, they can be continued to sell. They are not banning motorcycles, it is the lead contained in motorcycles they are banning.
