I grew up on a 25 I/O, and loved the flexibility of the I/O. One day, if/ when I can afford my own boat, it will be a Cat, and I love the idea of a 35. So I voted 35.![]()
Thank you for your vote.

I would have to say the 32 O/B....with Doug W doing a great job with his and with the X-Cat class having 20+ boats...it might be a boat to compete with...
That is a very good point, we need to get with a Agent and find a cheap way to get some people in a cat,we can build the boat around small power.I'd like to see something that could be a step towards reasonable cat insurance rates. Maybe you guys could use small power since your previous hulls seem very efficent.

How about a 40 Outboard? It's enough boat to go in any water, yet the outboards should be significantly lighter and cheaper. Yes, you won't get the speed of a 40 Skater with a pair of Sterlings, but the market for those boats is much smaller. I myself would be interested in something like this. And I can imagine the insurance would be significantly cheaper as well.
40 foot cat with Quad 350 outboards would be interesting!

As well as reliable and the rebuild time is not every couple of months.
I didn't see an option for the 22' Stingray copy running on pump gas.
ouch ! :ack2:
Steve, don't listen to these guys......30' center console trip 300's (with a head in the console) :USA:
Whatever you build post pics !:seeya:
something to compete with the 2 main racing classes
a 32' o/b to compete in x-cat or superstock
or a 41-42 to run in supercat/ class 1
used to be max of 40' for supercat-750 & max 42' for 850sc. but i think that from what i read and understand that OSS and the piston supercat classes are going to try to group all the piston classes together. it'll be interesting to see how biloxi goes!
steve, what exactly are you guys doing and where. i haven't been able to follow all these different threads, so could you clarify for me exactly what your up to.
are you in business or just making one off boats for fun? whats the story?
