C'mon, Rich (T2x)...tell us how the O/B going inboard were supposed to work. And curiously, why didn't it? In theory, sounded good. Or did it work and never caught on?

It did work. It broke the kilo speed record in Nassau, Bahamas. It was engineered for 8 EFI 2.4 litre powerheads, 4 in each sponson, powering a common driveshaft via blower belts, to each speedmaster drive. It broke the kilo record with only 6 powerheads installed. The boat sat and rotted away on its tilt trailer, in front of Fort Apache, just behind the fence, for years.
