even though it's winter it does get into the mid-70s here and no matter where you put your boat in in jacksonville the boating is great. you have the st. john's river, only a couple of wake zones by downtown. that 70 plus miles of open water to run, with many places to pull in and have lunch or dinner. then there is the ICW that makes runs north to fernadina beach and south to st. augustine or daytona to make a great day trip. then the ocean with with easy access. no matter what direction you head, there are places to go and things to do. i run out of beach marine in jacksonville beach almost every weekend. there is also the jacksonville poker run which is a blast the first week of june, check it out on fl powerboat club website. so if you every come this way let me know and hopefully we can hook up and run.

Mid 70's??/ I'm freezing my behind 200 miles South of you.
See you soon my friend, in warmer temps. :)

100% right on........ They do need a few more restaurants on the waterfront though. Gators Landing/ Outback Crabshack/ Jax. Landing can get old quick and I only visit for the poker run once a year......

Now if you come down to the deland area, we can go to Blue springs, Hontoon island, silver glen springs, all in FRESH water my brother.
I will be prop testing my 38 next weekend, headed north on the st Johns. :26:

Don't you think you can break the 25 mph speed limit on the river? :)

Oh yeah, it's manatee zone season too. A girl I know who live in Debary said she saw a lot of manatees at Blue Springs last week.

Hontoon is across the water from where I'm standing.

Where the hell do you launch that monster? I launche the 302 all the way down at Astor. The river is 8 feet lower than it was in September.
You can walk across the canal where the picture was taken, and not have water in your shoes. :(

I kept my boat at Palm Cove all last summer and never saw a go fast soul anywhere. Boat is now in Miami for another month or so. Let's get in touch because I belong to the jax Powerboat Club but my brothers there really prefer the St. John's south of downtown. Im an ocean/St. Augustine guy. Randy 201-783-9769

lmao.. ditto here... sort of.

No go fasts around here either. Steve Miklos has one, but I never see him on the waters. Then there is an AT. I do see him every once in a while, that's it. All CC's and fishing boats. I always draw a croud when I put the boat in the water. :biggrinjester:

Trailer south. Lot's of performance boats in the Opba. I belonged to it when I lived in Pinellas.

Miklos is the best at telling a story I ever heard! :)

When are you going to be in Daytona? Bike Week? It's always cold and rainy during Bike Week. Especially the past two years. In those two years, I put on a total of 9, and 18 miles respectively. The weather sucked!

Hey Cud.

I belong to OPBA.

I missed Biketoberfest last year due to my shoulder but I think I will try Bike Week. I think you put more miles on the bike then I did in the last two BW event. Let's hope this year will be better. :biggrinjester:
