Seems like deck wouldn't fit well after cutting a foot off of the hullsides? Hull would be wider than the deck. I'm sure you've done it many times though! Awesome Thread!!!
the deck will be wider than hull, then deck will be trimed..... my question, when chopping down a boat, especially carbon, is it cut to match the deck contour or is the nose drooped down then glassed in.? I am wondering because once laid up, though it has some flex, if it were drooped wouldn't that prestress the laminate?
Funny thing when i was at Skater we never used an oven but on the other hand when i was employed at S 2 YACHTS (TIARA ) building boats out of epoxy we did .

Once again Sean you never seem to amaze me with your comments and like i said before i was a little late to this thread and just trying to get up to speed .
