Anyone for a bad 100mph Apache - unbelievable price

So then to summarize...

got awesome 47 Apache wave crusher, dry sump 6's runs over 100mph, on new Myco . boat is in Awesome shape, try under 120k, won't last long- all white, being painted silver soon

-The boat for sale is a boat you don't own.

-It's a 45, not a 47.

-The 6's are wet.

-It doesn't run near the speed quoted.

-The "New Myco" is years old.

-And "awesome shape" doesn't include that the hull has suffered major damage in the past and that it needs significant work.

So the only factual item in the post was "try under $120K"?

And you sit home wondering why you get jumped on.

Do you know what it's like to have a micro-scope jammed up your azz??
Jim does.
He's being watched closely.

Sounds like it would not be sellable without alot of structural glass work, motors need rebuilt bad, drives need to be rebuilt, sounds like 50-60k of work.

What? 50-60K Are you from a different planet? You are looking at 200K easy, maybe more. Joy poster!

Mikey,

the day you get a offshore boat project I'll convert to a pedophile priest:ack2: You, me and all others know's talk is talk and action is action:biggrinjester:

That 45 Apache has been praised for years on the other place. Now it's
just a big piece of junk... That's funny...:o

It's really neither. On OSO it was talked about as a boat that was ready for a refurb job- the owner represented it that way and those that spoke about it did as well. The only thing that's changed since Lynch traded it in is the value tanked- along with every other used boat.

Yep...just that..and you better start studying the bible..:sifone:

There is a lot of real stuff around should be no problem.

Yes but there is Big problem.

The European border is closed for all second hand (US too) boats unless they are CE-certified & tagged (and vaccined too I reckon).
The only ones getting exempt are Raceboats that the fabricator can prove to be one and built to be one ( has to have a tag stating it being a raceboat) or aboat that has been over here before 1998.
EU is all about protecting their own market right now.

Or how is it Mange ?
If you got a bulletproof system a 28 Pantera is waiting for a solution.

I find it funny that the USCGC doesn´t apply here as it´s much more strict.

OK, I can be little wrong here. I just refering to some old talks over there.

But what exactly is bad with the hull? Is there extensive structural damages?

The wet #6 drives has never been restored in 10 years?:ack2:

Yes, Will really took care of the boat and enjoyed it, however over the years of racing as any race boat does things get loose and need repair. for the intended use when Will owned it, it was perfect. upper 80's and solid. but to turn it back into a 100 mph ride, would take quite a bit more. the boat has a half cabin now, which it didnt have, and the redo, was just removing a 3rd motor and making it a seat. is it a junker, by all means no. It will just take a lil more than a pocketful of pennies to make it pristine. Will knew it. Is it worth it to totally redo, depends on the owner and his money. To bring it up to today's standards and a stagger, I could easily see a bill of over 200K. I'm almost halfway there on my 20ft cig, and this is 25 ft longer...:D
