Anyone for a bad 100mph Apache - unbelievable price

Rob, Anthony and I both thought they were dry sumps, and was told that, I heard there was only 1 made, did'nt know it was a new model, Until you told me it was damaged we had no clue , I have spoke with owner never heard a word about it. It sounds like I should just bail on this thing, sounds like a lot of problems and I'll waste even more money finding out things that you have told me, I posted what I was told and thought it was a great boat at a great deal at 120k, thanks Jim

The skegs look right but could be welded on. But old uppers.

motors will be brought back to loto for rebuild, the current owner has already pulled them and he had planned to have them rebuilt by Carolina, thanks for the history, Rob and Stecz, your right about just have it surveyed, he could of updated some things who knows, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, seems like a nice guy on the phone

So then to summarize...

-The boat for sale is a boat you don't own.

-It's a 45, not a 47.

-The 6's are wet.

-It doesn't run near the speed quoted.

-The "New Myco" is years old.

-And "awesome shape" doesn't include that the hull has suffered major damage in the past and that it needs significant work.

So the only factual item in the post was "try under $120K"?

And you sit home wondering why you get jumped on.

Actually the drives are DRYSUMP's, when Tres was getting it all set-up for Will Lynch they blew up a drive in testing if memory serves me. So when they rebuilt the drives it wasn't much more to convert them to drysumps.

Will said to do it over again he is not sure he would have converted them for the minimum gains but they are DRYSUMP's unless some body pulled them.

At a quick glance they would appear to be the old wetsumps,............Skegs seems Herring put new welded skegs on there.
But your taxing my memory for a few years of details.

Good luck with this Thread................LOL

Jon

First your builder...then Carolina, then LOTO...

Your nose would grow if you told the truth!

I'm just saying that they are the old style ones. I know that because that's what is on my boat. I have no idea what year that they changed the position of the mounts. Good luck with the boat.

Craig:)

There are alot of old housing that are dry.

But they don't change the skegs most of the times. These are new style skegs.:cheers2:
