What does it mean when they say "presale" as in tickets available before they go on sale to the general public?

Presale is usually for people that belong to the bands fan club. Dave Matthews Band has a fan club called warehouse and you get first dibs at tickets, and usually the best tickets available.

What concert are you looking to get tickets for Tony?

we are on the wrong side for my old trick, back when I was in cali, ticketmaster would advertise "on sale at 11 am" I would call ticketmaster on the east coast at 11 EC time and get tickets 3 hours before they would go on sale in cali. don't know if they ever caught on or cared..

Looking at Offspring w/ Dropkick Murphys. Ive skipped the last few (ten year span) for working on the boat. **** the boat, this time I'l beat some punk out of his tickets if I have to.
