OPA is proud to announce that the first show of the AMSOIL Offshore Racing Series, santioned by OPA will air this Thursday - 11/10 at 4pm EST on VERSUS Network - soon to be NBC Sports.

I'm watching it now on Versus. Wished they'd replay because I'm not able to watch all at 1pm!

As TOTALLY happy as I am to see any boat racing on TV, I was a bit let down.
The boats and racing seemed to take up a tiny percentage of the show.
When the miniscule "re-cap" of the races highlights were covered the announcer's voice, his attitude, and the music seemed to take a lot more away from the action than it added. Seemed like phoney suspense trying to be built in a "reality" TV show. I DO just LOVE seeing an and all coverage, but a little let down after some of the earlier "series". I would rather see and hear more about the boats, hardware, set ups etc. Less of failed human interest tales. my .02
