All Summer Long (behind the scenes)

And they weren't douchebags.

I grew up listening to Skynard, and I still love their music, so I am just playing Devil's Advocate here .......

Do you think KidRock is that much more of a douche than the boys in Skynard were, or in this day of IM's, YouTube, cellphone cameras and the internet are we just more aware of his off stage actions ???

Ok enough deep thought, now back to your regulary scheduled programming ....:sifone::_boobies::cheers2:

It's not entirely inconceivable that perhaps some of these gentlemen might fall into the douchebag category. :D :D

I dunno. Or at least I would hope not. They always seemed like ordinary redneck guys having a good time. I suppose times have changed, but the Skynyrd guys never seemed to get caught up in all the rockstar crap- and it was just as out of hand in the 70's as it is today.

What a rip off,he is singing about Northern Michigan and the video is in Tennessee. The video is good, his music is ok,not a fan of him.But he does have a little blue in his vains.

If I remember the LS story on VH1 Behind the music, Ronnie, the main man was 1 mean trouble causer!! Punched his band members, knocked teeth out!!! I would remember that!!!!!!!!! I think LS had their wild hairs!!!!:dupe:

I like Kid Rock. Best concert I saw this year. Love hanging with rock stars ... well ... I mean I love hanging with Glassdave. He's entertaining :sifone:

He should have filmed it on Lake Charlevoix!!!!!!! Don't ya think Bob??????:sifone: We could have been extras float'n around!!! H E L L, I would have even let some of those pole massagers on the front of the NT!!!!!!:03:

A couple self screws and my drill,I would have that pole in your boat ready to go in seconds!I'll ask Larry if he has your barn key, I'll go do it before I forget.

I'm sure they weren't perfect. But they did write their own songs :)

A Warren Zevon song with Skynyrd lyrics wedged in? At least you have to give him points for creativity.

I was OK with Kid Rock until Pam Anderson thing. Hell, I could do better than Pam.

Don't get me wrong, I like LS, those guys are alright in my book. But they bought into the glam/fame thing as much as anyone else in rock - albeit in a southern kind of way. :) Their rockumentary was great!

I like Kid Rock. I like boats. I like hot chicks. I give it two thumbs up……or two dancing broccoli any way! :26::26:

All BS aside which I never partake in anyway! He should have filmed that IN MICHIGAN!!! Gorgeous Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake!! Just a plethora of options in "NORTHERN MICHIGAN"!!!!!!!!!!

I bet they filmed early in the year to have it out by summer. It is some times chilly in Northern Michigan in say March!

i think they actually mention that. something about them filming when it was cold up north so they checked out Florida and a couple other places and decided on Tennesse cus it looked the most like n. Michigan.
