as a result though I became a die hard Apache enthusiast, and will own one some day with or without my uncle.
Words to live by dude!!!!

That mind-set is what got me back into boating!!! My father owned his own company through the 70's-80's and went belly up in the mid 80's... He lost the boat, house etc. in the late 80's... I missed being on our boat and remembered all the "talk" about racing and Apache's and then I saw Kid Apache at the NYC boat show with 3 engines and remember asking my father, "how in the heck did they fit 3 engines in there and look at all that chrome!":USA:
Through out my teenage years we'd always go driving around to dealerships looking at boats that my faither claimed he would buy "in a year or two" but it never came to fruition because he couldn't get his company off the ground....

One time he had me believing we were buying a 42' Fountain with T-425's brand new with the radar arch.. lol After a while I got tired looking at all the pictures of yesterday and hearing the BS of how were were going to get another one and I said to myself, I'm going to have to do this chit on my own!
As I was entering high school I started to wise up... I started busting my azz... Positioned myself to work at a marina when I was 17 and worked there until my early 20's, going to college at night and bought my Scarab when I was 22 for cash ($16K, sold it for $22K)... Kept on busting my azz until I could afford what I have today!!!:driving:
Anyway, just a lil bit about me! :bump:
