The Navy informed local officials that if its housing could not be built on Peary Court, the land would be sold to the highest bidder.

An attorney ended up in jail after he showed up in the Plantation Key Courthouse with a diabetic monkey on his shoulder. He was in court to defend himself for a contempt of court charge.
