The SVL guys have proved to be the hardest working group the last couple years . They have actually made headway .
Speedbumps occur . I do believe a 10 to 12 boat field in the near future .
I also hope a couple ilmores find there way under some hatches .:drool5:

ten yrs and a one-off purpose built race boat that was allowed under questionable circumstances - IMO because of P1's realtionship with fountain and $$$. which seems to have done more harm than good.
if thats the only example than i think my view is pretty well on point
i not denying that people are trying or people have good intentions but merely looking at the results that have been played up to be an improvement.
the talk at the beginning of the season was min 10 boats at several races. that never materialized. more like a 3-4 avg. so agian if this is improvement than it's going to take several years for anything to develope that represents a compettive class of "spec" race boats that in any way resemble a professional level of racing. ie; standardized rules, tech inspection that are done on a professional level by legit paid professionals, prize money, and equally well organized events with stand-alone races for that one class.
The class is fine ,,were all working towards the same common goal ,,close competitive racing,,and growth,,Were in the process of learning on how to except new technology and maintain parity in the process.. It,s going to work it self out and as I have stated before,,The fans and race sites will see some of the best offshore racing on the water.:USA:

Class rep? More, or less up in the air. I thought Paul would make a good leader, and might ask to take over. I currently have lost interset for the time being. Playing catch on all the things I have neglected the last few years. Amazing how time I have now, not doing that testing that I was told I never did. Found about 20 hours a week to do other things, like work on my pleasure boat.
So this weekend at the loto shootout we will have four svl's running the one mile track for bragging rights and a plastic trophy. Boats running will be pirate racing, under destruction, octane, and watch your back,,,
Any pre race guesses on outcome and speeds????
Looking forward to a great event this weekend watching some of the fastest boats around, while enjoying a few drinks with some out of town friends..
