x2... Fraud! Too many of these things happening all over the place... both buying and selling.

I ended up wet sanding w/varying grit paper ending at 1500... Then buffed w/compound... Turned out EXCELLENT. Could have saved some elbow grease if I had some 2500 or so grit... but none the less it turned like new. Thanks to all.

Need to find out what the process is for getting a couple relatively small scuff marks out of my gel coat. These are marks that were not totally sanded out when the boat was built late last year. I would normally take the boat back and have them do it, but I'm 650 miles away. They are small...

Does anyone know the recommended methodology to fogging an Ilmor? I spoke to the boat manufacturer and they didn't seem to be too keen on doing the 2-stroke oil in the fuel filter trick. Should I just buy a can of engine fogging stuff and spray it in the intake?

Yep... Signed in late July, took possession in late October for an '09. Time was great price-wise but a little late in the season for pickup, so not many hours on her yet.

Will do... Only had some break-in time while picking her up. Didn't open it it too much. During their water test, they hit 84 with more in her and that was on glass, so I'm sure when she packs a little air, she'll see a little more than that. I figured it wasn't too bad for a 'family boat'...

I believe it's the other way around... Doesn't really matter though. Oil Cooler gets clogged, then the EGR cooler goes bad... When you get the EGR Cooler replaced, always replace the Oil Cooler too. There's also a lot of information over on "thedieselstop.com" on this issue. Are you filling...
