Very windy here on the Gulf coast today. 25knots out of the west. Not a day for boating but if your a surfer...... Back north to reality tonight. Surfing today, skiing tomorrow.
That should help air out that AWESOME 50 of yours!!!!!:sifone:

im on the south shore , im temporarily in lindenhurst for a little while
the video was shot at fire island inlet
i was in a 5 mill that day in december , with windbreaker pants and jacket over it

Nice!!! People used to think I was crazy surfing in Jan/Feb with my 5mil and ice on the jetties.... but that's when we got the good waves!!! Fall and Spring are my favorite!! 3 mil weather....

When I go diving I got my 3 mil and 7 mil on. Both. :leaving: And still cold.
It's so cold right now, I don't have to put my beer in the frieg. :rofl:
What was I thinking going water skiing on Holloween day in Chicago ?? Back in the 70's. Wow,, was I nuts or what?..

That's funny!!!! Sometimes I couldn't wait to brew up a good pee so I could warm myself up when we were out there....lol Nose and face were always frozen and you didn't talk to your buddies much cause your lips were usually numb.... Wipe out in 30 degree water and having your hood ripped off your head was always a shocker!!
The first winter I surfed I couldn't afford a new 5mil so I had a 4mil and wore my spring suit underneath and bought a hoodie.... I must have been in pretty damn good shape cause it was pretty darn restrictive!!!Water temps in Jersey are usually in the low 40's in the winter and sometimes dip down to the upper 30's during the peak cold weeks. You're right, we were crazy...wtf were we thinking!!!!
Ya know what though... all this talk has me wanting to do it again for some insanely crazy reason!

good stuff guys , i remeber being a kid and wearing a shortie under my 3/2 and surfing in the middle of the winter , im pretty sure ive even worn a 3/2 over another 3/2 a few times
i gotta get back into surfing , i bought a nice longboard last year and used it once (weak!)
jetsking in big surf is so fun , i think it might be the most fun ive had on the water
im heading to florida on monday or tuesday and im towing the jetski down if anyone wants to ride
