True. But it's looks like we will lose the Hospice carve out for Medicare. Bad news for all providers.
But hey, they will pay for futile care. IMO they should increase the hospice benefit.
By the way... my sister is starting with big green palliative care Jan 1.

Pallative is run out of my office,,, Who is your sister?? and doubt they would cut hospice from medicare..its a lot cheaper..and Mcare is all about cheap....

No, the "carve out." We would lose our protected status. They will reimburse. But we will be in the bucket with the rest of health care.
