I stand with Apple. I would rather be free than "safe."

On this one I stand with the government. That they want the ability to crack the sign-on password without the phone going into the fail-safe/erase all data mode from failure to enter the correct password 10 times is okay with me. But, it can only be after the fact with a court search warrant and approval.

I'm also okay with the fact that the courts decided, not the government.

As for complete encryption on email and phones, not sure yet.

I've always thought it was odd that Uber could make a business where none of the drivers had to prove competency, have proof of insurance that their passengers were covered, or have a commercial or chauffeurs drivers license. That's why I never take Uber
