Heading for 40 degrees tomorrow, 60 degree change in 4 days. Crazy weather, hope everyone got the snow off their roofs!

Oh no...
an "expert" on our local news said nothing to worry about in our area...
building codes are supposed to require construction that supports around 3,500 lbs per square foot.
Current snow and ice should only be around 1,000.

I have no idea how this "expert" came up with that $hi+.
Some areas of my own roof have 2 foot deep snow and ice.
Others 2".
I would think just this much variance would make it hard for some genius to judge who has what and how much on their rooftops.
I am not freaking out but may borrow the neighbors roof rake and pull a little down.
Did hers last night because she was afraid her place would cave in.
Got a case of beer for helping her out
