Hi Ho's!!! Going to look at a 98 500SL. Since its about half way to the 944 potential buyer I've agreed to meet him for another test drive. Busy day planned, looks like it will be cloudy but not raining.

Its a good deal. I had a 91 and regret selling it. Was originally my Moms car.

It's low miles, and I believe that they didn't drive it in the winter, because those are not winter tires.
Nice looking car.

My parents get new cars every 3 years. My Mom has being getting convertibles since 1987. Almost got a 560SL in 87 but still needed back seats, didn't like the Jaguar, so got a BMW. She got another one in 90. Dad bought a 420SEL in 91 and got a deal on the SL for buying two cars. They've been with Mercedes ever since.

We had a Mazda GLC, and then a Subaru wagon.
It's been all GM after that.

Going to be a nice day here. There will be free admission to some of the specialty gardens around the city today so a group of us is going over to a park/garden in the Westmoreland area. I worked for a nursery back in 1958 (7 years old at the time) that grew most of the rhododendrons that were planted in Portland just after WWII, so in a way I'm gonna visit some of my babies.
