Current Points Standings after Port Huron are posted

The cancellation of New York is gonna really hurt the teams behind chances to make up ground. Will the points from Jupiter count towards the national championship, or is that strictly the "World's" and the season is over after Solomons?

Solomons is the end of the season so you can see you can go from hero to zero in a hurry .
Went from 4 points out of first place going into st clair to like worst place coming out of port huron.
Jupiter is the worlds so pointes reset.

Keep in mind, this did actually happen last year. Long Island race was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene. Just about all the racers knew in St Clair what was transpiring in Long Island. They had plenty of time to adjust.

Also happened the year prior, when AC was cancelled just an hrs prior to the schedule race time due to extreme water conditions. (Each team did get 50 points for showing in AC)

Like p-f-e said, No points from Jupiter count towards the national race, it is strictly points for the OPA Worlds.

Thanks, I remember I was in AC then. Spent a lot of time Bar Racing after that cancellation:cheers2:.....

Just looking at the points standings, with only the one race left, pretty much the chances of catching the points leaders for championships are over in most classes with the shortened number of events. I'm not saying there is anything that could be done, or that everything possible wasn't tried (I know Louie too well to think that), it's just that it's too bad.
