Sure hope that tropical depression changes its mind and gives you guys the 2' of rain they are talking about instead of New Orleans....

Looks as if your lake could use it.......

North wind was a welcome change this weekend. There are a couple Bajas that have a new appreciation for my little Fever. :driving:

And a couple pictures of all the fires you may have heard about on the news.

I was gonna call Jim today. Are any of those close to either of your houses??????

The closest one is about 5-8 miles away and in just about contained. No effect here except smoke in the air.

Kind of an eerie feeling... The fires were all around us.. My car was covered in ashes this morning and our whole neighborhood was filled with smoke..

Frank went up towards the Pedernales fire and got some pictures but his computer is down at the moment...

We were out all day saturday, went tp the beach at Point Venture then to Carlos and Charlies at night,
lake was as busy as a usual summer weekend but slower than it normally is for Labor Day,
Carlos and Charlies was PACKED and FUN,, we partied till around 2.30am got home around 3am.
Lots of cops out but we did not get hassled, mostly idiots on lake lice machines and guys that forgot to
turn their lights on at night..Slept in sunday (my bday) and went back out monday, much slower due to the fires everywhere,
we went all the way up to Spicewood so my buddy could get some pics and check on another buddies place..Heck of a sore throat today from the smoke
Not a bad weekend except for the fires, my thoughts go out to all caught behind the fire lines,
Frank
