As the powerboat races were under way, the Tourist Development Council approved a proposal to bring the Offshore Professional Tour to Key West at the end of the month.

Ahh, the good old days of racing.
I had just begun to race and had met Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith, (they were married at the time), on several occasions. Seemed like regular folk, smilled, said hello, and she was a cutie!
