SVL ,S NEXT STEP

In an effort to keep the class of SVL going in the right direction,I GEORGE JR. don,t honestly have the spare time to keep up the pace. This class is one of the best classes in offshore today, and it will continue to grow each and every year.So it is my decision to step aside from driving the boat to sitting in the back seat and taking a ride!! ,SVL is going to make some serious headlines in the near future and I think that now is the perfect time to move over!
MARK DUNBAR (UNDER DESTRUCTION) will be the New Class President ,please lets all gather up behind him and support his efforts,,THE ONLY WAY A LEADER CAN LEAD,, IS FOR YOU TO TELL HIM WHAT YOU REALLY THINK YOU WANT. I enjoyed the opportunity to drive , but now is the time to put an 100 percent effort back into my race boat. I,ll see ya all at the races, good luck ,be careful, and be happy,
THANKS AGAIN
GEORGE JR. SVL # 10 :USA:

Congratulations Mark. Good move George.. Mark has a good head on his shoulders, will bring new enthusiasm to the class and will be a great representative for us. You have my support.

:cheers2:From what I have seen and read, George has done nothing but help grow the sport of offshore racing. What he has done promoting the SVL class has truly been outstanding. In the last year I, as a fan, have been converted from the cat classes to a big fan of SVL, mostly from the hard work George and all of the other teams have put in. SVL, as a class, has grown tremendously through the hard work of many people, but mainly because of George's dedication to the sport and to his class. Congratulations on your accomplishment and I wish you all the success in the world. Thanks again and I wish Mark continued success in his new adventure.

THANKS , to all that called and wrote,,,but MARK will do a great job,!! Mark as for taking the position i believe your ok ..it has been passed back and forth twice in the last two seasons,,and I don,t see any ACTIVE racers objecting,, you can do it ,i,m sure,,,,

I am honored that George would pick me, but it is not official until the class votes on it.

Only because he knows Jeni is the real master mind behind your pretty face........:sifone:

Congrats Mark, I think George made a very good choice......

from Half way around the world. congrats Mark, I am sure you will lead the group well!
George, as well as the group in whole have shown what it will take to make the class work, you now have a great foundation, that not only are people are intrested in , you have builders intrested as well. this will lead to growth! Thanks for all of SVL, as you are the Blue collar of offshore! and it represents the average fan well!

SVL came back hard :driving: a little while back ,looked great again .

Now it,s less than half a dozen consistent if that .

What happened ?

Hope it regains it's popularity before The worlds in key west .

( pete great shots lately thanx )

SVL will be well off,,don,t forget offshore racing is a rough sport in a whole,,we have one team with an engine block crack,,one needs an overhaul (after 3-400hrs) one is doing some body and hull work ,,two need drives,,one needs waxing( Jimmys job Friday) 6 are ready to go,,, but we should be in great shape in St, Clair..all come out and cheer on your favorite team,,

3 orgs, one contingency sponsor, 10 race teams, a new mfg SVl, 3 more maybe in the wings, an oil spill, a little bit of controversy. At the end of the day were still all friends, and just want to go racing. Were still on the right track, and plan on keeping it that way!!!!!

Cell phone upgraded to unlimited.

George, Thank you for all of your countless hours of work and dedication to our class! Your dedication and love of the sport has taken the Svl class to new heights during a time when bringing our sport together seems harder than ever. Knowing mark as well as I do I know he will continue what you have accomplished.
The entire Svl group is a class act that I'm proud to be a part of.
We are looking forward to st Clair and can't wait to race in such a great location.

See you all soon
