UD thanks, I just ran the speed using past numbers, crazy fast and a very nice package ,great idea!!! Best Regards.

Crazy question maybe. What would the proper overall width be on a 32 or 35 for best performance? Would towing be an issue with the 8.5 freeway max?

The first Cheetahcat was 9 feet with the tunnel I had in that boat to make it work.

don't think you could build a legal width 35' or bigger. most 30' and 32' are a tad over 8'6" which is legal max.

I have the original drawing on a wall here in my office,Just walked over with a scale and it can be done.

This boat was street legal.Steve2 needs to give this old design a once over.

but is that the most efficent/best performance?

The mentality was like a funny car chassis you could put any body on it and this came off the original fixture.

OK,,, where is it?

Do you have a rendering?
Cosmic , that is a very good question Steve 1 & 2 i have been lurking a wee bit on this thread and does the poll decide on what boat to build next........... or is that a stupid question because there is already a boat in the makings .

we are using this poll as guide lines, nothing can be built until we know the power and more about the layout as everything changes from the bottom on up in a effort to get the most out of the boat.
