Where are they

What are you saying about the banks? I have been told that the bank is almost low balling boat loans. Even lower than NADA or Kelly Blue book. So like this maybe you want a 100k boat and they will only loan 80 so you need the 20k? So do they also require a down payment on the 80k they loan you? That was kind of a question I always had.

The bank wont budge off of 80 for the red/white one. The 46 at perf boat brokerage is sold. The old 502 flat deck sold. For a 100k, you may be hard pressed right now. The 43 flat with trips at perf boats could be had at a decent price but the motors are up there at 400hrs. I have that 99 trip 500 boat that i would let go for around 130. I have a buddy with a 02 46EC with fresh 575sci and XRs that could e bought for around 135 and its immaculate. There is the 99 502efi 43 tall deck on boattrader for 99k in illinois i believe.

So in conclusion, i keep track of whats out there.... lol

Best of luck my friend and hopefully a welcome to the BT club

I dont know what exactly you are inquiring about Jared. What i was saying is the Red 97 at loto that is bank owned, the bank wont come below 80k. As far as banking goes, i have always dealt with the bank that my dads trucking company is with. Just a local place but whenever i need a loan, its just a phone call away, no questions, just go. It makes it nice having that repoir with them and also local people are easier to deal with IMO. Credit unions seem to work well also if they will do boat loans. My buddy in Houston has a 798 credit score he showed me and is getting loan approvals at 10.5-12% for 65k that are 05 and newer boats. I told him the same thing as above. Deal local as they will generally work with you better. Best of luck and go get that 35

I miss understood. I thought the bank would only loan 80k towards the purchase of it. Stupid me. :sifone: Getting closer on that 35'. Have a guy from Houston that wants to come look. I got her ready to go.

I might sell mine QUOTE]

John, you ready to sell me some of your BMAX supply???? I am wanting a spare or two for my new BT.

Chris if I sell my boat you will have first choice, if I don't break one this year I may sell one of my extras. I have my spare set on now and I'm going to take apart the ones that I tricked out and see how they are holding up. They have about 30Hrs that is 20hrs more than they lasted before, so it's time to look inside and see how the gears are holding up. I'm also going to lose the 5 blades this year and that should also help. I also pulled 1 of the engines and went through it to see how things are holding up, just over a 100 hrs and it looked like it was just put together so I'm a very happy camper.

New trailer looks nice! How does it tow in comparison to the last one? You doin' ok after that idiot hit ya?

Thanks, it tows very nice I like the dual set up a lot better than the triple axle for sure. Yes I'm pretty much up to 100% and now just have to finish up with the insurance company.

John, glad to hear everythings holding up and running well. If i had the spare dinero, your boat would be atop my list for sure. Glad to hear the drives are working good for you. Im nervous and havent even drove the new one yet....... lol

My maiden voyage in my BT was from Miami to Key West for the races with 11 other BT's. Stayed 1 night in Islamorada. Then down to KW the next day. The 11 other BT owners all stayed in hotels as did I, not knowing any better. Then No Compromise runs down the next day and docks next to me. He gets out his elec cable, water hose, TV cable, and hooks up. I talked to him for a while and he never stays in hotels. I now only stay in boat when overnighting. He was the one that triggered me to do so! Nice couple and glad I met them. John P, I guess you bought the boat from them? And it now has BMaxes? He had oil coolers on his Imco drives at that time trying to make them last. Very nice boat. Tommy

Yes we did buy it from David.
I guess that was one of the reasons he sold it was drive issues, I spoke with someone who worked on it and was told 4 to 8 hrs was all they could get out of a drive. When I took them apart they were not even close to being set up correctly. So after some trial and error I have found out a few things to make them last.
