After I saw him badmouthing Bush senior and his continuing service, I really started to wonder what aspect of the American system he does respect.

1) No proof of natural born Citizen qualifications.
2) No college records.
3) Attended a Very and Radical Racist church for over twenty years.
4) Never held a real private sector job.
5) Lied to the public about his health care beliefs.
7) Spews Marxist rhetoric.
8) Can't give a speech without a teleprompter.
9) He does not seem to be very bright.

Should I continue?

The majority of the citizens of OUR country chose him for the office. Not a single thing you list aside from the first one disqualifies him from holding the office. On point 1, everyone concedes that he's a citizen- except for the nuttiest of conspiracy theorists. You might have a bettr chance selling the idea he's a space alien.

Obama is in there because a bunch of people that you and I side with did a very poor job of getting the alternative elected. That poor job started about 3 years prior to that first Tuesday in November.

As much as Ronald Reagan is revered, the man had some flaws. No one respects him more than I. But history tends to mute the details. RWR was responsible for making the sausage. And he had the same materials to feed into the grinder that all our other presidents have had to and will have to. None of them are going to leave the job and step straight into sainthood. That's history's job.

Obama won because he got enough people to want to vote for him. Plain and simple. And if all the people on the right continue to do as they have in the past, the Dems will win again, even with a poor showing running the country. Because they're selling "hope" and I don't have any idea what our guys are selling.

And posting on a message board populated with 99% of people that think just like you do politically isn't going to change any minds.

And to be blunt, people perpetuating the Obama is a Muslim, Obama isn't a citizen, Obama rigged the election, ad infinitum... those people scare me enough to question myself on what we see in the same candidate on the conservative side of the election.

Hey pal...were all one family here. And we are all sittin around the table talkin about sh!t that is so complex it is impossible to understand.
Anyone on here that says he knows the ramifications of the bailout or healthcare is kidding themselves.
None of us knows 1% of the facts.

No one understands the pressures that your presidents have ever felt.

Hopefully they all tried and will continue to try their hardest for what they feel is right.
My point has always been to stand beside them not on top of them.

But we are all talkin as friends and the guys that are lobbin snowballs at you and I would all jump into the water to save us if they had to...and thats all that really counts.
Steve would yell at us, but I know he'd be there.

After Bush caused a split in the Party with his stance on Amnesty ,the Border Guards in Prison and McCain being in that Mix and little things like the "see you at the signing",Hell a Hollywood script writer would be hard pressed to provide more distention, The Party was split and some flat sat out the 06 midterms in disgust and as for the 08 I have heard estimates of 10 Million refusing to vote for McCain..

Now that said this unmitigated disaster that has been cast on Washington has united the party and the Conservative Base which are 40% of the voters. Some changes need be done Party leadership is lacking and the RINOs need purged.
