Mornin all, Our alarm system has been screwing up the last couple days, smoke alarm, anyway the guy from the alarm company came out and looked it over and reset everything, telling us were good to go. Today at 7AM it went off again so they're coming out again to fix it. The last system I had in Wisconsin kept screwing up, about 20 times with no end in sight. The last time it went off I ran down to the basement and started pulling wire apart until it stopped making noise. It sat that way until we moved:rolleyes:

Mornin all, Guess what happened again this AM, yep the alarm system goes off and to top that off I went and reset the system and called ADT, the alarm company, at the same time they were calling me so they called the fire dept. cause they couldn't get thru. I called ADT on my cell and the guy kept talking as I'm screaming at him to call in a false alarm to the fire dept. He just kept going on about the tech they need to send out and blah blah blah, finally as he says he'll call I hear sirens and yep they're coming to my house. Now the good part is I was trying to sleep in this AM so I had my Scooby Doo PJ's on with bunny slippers standing at the end of the drive way with the fire dept, light and sirens going and everyone one in town driving and walking by, do you know how embarrassed I was when I realized my Scooby doo tops were on inside out? :sifone:

I'd be embarrassed too. But, I guess it's better than being bare-assed....:sifone:


Is your system wired on the smoke alarms or are they wireless?

The whole system is hard wired, too much concrete and steel for RF or at least that's what they told me. The next step is they come out replace all heat and smoke detectors today

Okay, we had to hard-wire ours to make it stop screwing up.
 
Trying to find a baking workshop here in Toledo. Very diffiult to find anything other than Cincy or Novi Mi. Our C.C. has a culinary class, but thats not what I'm looking for. Any suggestions? I'll keep trying.....
 
Afternoon all. Still packing away so that we can be ready to roll out of here next weekend. Why does it seem like the more I do, the more there is?

The amount of years lived in one place is exponentially proportional to the amount of stuff to pack basically you accumulate things twice as fast as the amount of time you stay:sifone:
 
I went from 4500SF 2 car garage and shed to a 400SF RV, talk about shedding all my crap! Was awesome!! But some how I've filled my new house up again already?

Mornin all, guess what didn't go off this AM? The smoke detectors in zone 1! Happy days this AM the dogs really hate that noise, but just in case I made sure I had my PJ on right side out:sifone:
