All of you must admit the "Broadbrush" of all dems are liberals and all Reps are Bible Thumpers is an easy feather ruffler that gets the true discussion thrown out.....(I think)

There are some Reps (McCain) who are liberal enough to be considered Dems and there are Dems (Nicknamed Blue Dogs) who are closer to Reps on fiscal issues than many Reps themselves.....

Did we ever get the final numbers for totals spent on the Presidential campaigns of all candidates? Including the primaries?
