Don't eat anything 24 hour prior, they use less air to clean the lens and you'll fart alot less when it's done

They give you a concoction to clean you out. That part is worse. They sedate you for the procedure. And there are dangers of perforations that can cause sepsis.

But the alternative is a grisly death brought on my being consumed alive by a really nasty disease. This is one of those 100% preventable and treatable if caught early diseases. A no brainer.

And fess up. You've done worse to yourself in a bar or on a motorcycle or on a pair of shis than this is going to be. Time to man up and take it in the ass.

My Doc said he wanted me to have one- at 37!

Some thing about can't eat, drinking some stuff that makes you have soupy poopy and then coming to see him to be put under so he can explore my bunghole on up.

Was the last co-pay he got from me..

Had many of them Robert! As Chris said, the prep/ cleanout is a pain in the "AZZ"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The procedure is not bad when U get knocked out!!! Ya wake up & it's done & U want 2 Fly 2 McDonalds & get 6 burgs & 3 lg fries! Get it done by a gastroenterologist!! Good luck!:seeya:

I had one not long ago.l No big deal!!!
You are knocked out, next thing you'll know is that you are in recovery and going home in about 30 minutes.

Even the "before" part where you crap every 30 minutes isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

It sounds way worse than it is!!!!

It's a day. An inoperable tumor is a lifetime. A short, painful one at that.

my dad died of colon cancer, fought it for years, many operations & tough X's!:( I have ulcerative colitis that has not flared up in years I am happy 2 say! I get scoped every 3-5 years!! pro at it!!!:willy_nilly:

no problem

Man-up and do it. Just like Fram used to say pay me now or pay me later, only difference is it could be your life!

I have diverticulitis inside a seperated and torn colon wall, Doc says gotta be careful ....... gotta have it checked every two years, if the wall splits, it won't be funny...

Robert, IMO your wayyyyyyyyyyy overdue, don't be scared, it's eazy, and greasy... :biggrinjester:

remember that time someone called you a pain in the azz.....now it's payback time!! :)

never had one but I'm in my 30's......some time in my 40's/50 when requested I will get it done. Butt :) not looking forward to it.

Lost my father to colon cancer, I'm 46 and start mine this year. I'm not worried about it. As Chris said this is one of the deadliest, and also the most preventable just by being scoped. Tearing my ACL and meniscus hurt, scoping is nothing.

Robert, B sure 2 ask 4 the synthetic lube! It makes B'n violated a little easier!!:biggrinjester: Just kid'n, seriously, no big deal!! Had 1 a couple months ago!!:ack2:
