Chicks, Chips & Boats

Morn'n all. Gonna be a nice week here. We sure could use the rain though. Things are getting a little skanky behind the house. Channel needs a good flushing out. Hate to see our water bill this quarter. Our pump and water pick up for our lawn sprinklers mounts to our dock. Didn't have the time to put it in this year, so been run'n the sprinklers on house water.

Evening peeps! I knocked out one more day of the Grand Jury Duty this morning, only took two hours. Fry 'em all we decided. Or rather, at least they will go to trial to be fried. I have to do one more day next month and I will be done with my civic duty here. Wonder if I can manage to get called in WV when we move (if).

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally I can see again! Two weeks ago I had eye surgery, lens replacement, on my right eye and yesterday on my left. No more reading glasses. Anyway the Dr told me the time between the two surgeries would be the worst. Almost didn't do the second one cause I couldn't see $hit with the first one. After I had the left one done it was like someone flipped a switch and I could see and read with my right eye. The left one is still fuzzy but getting better by the hour:26:

That's some scary stuff. I know it's routine, but still spooks me when it comes to the eyes.

Morning everyone. What a week this has turned out to be so far. Started out with a six stop load starting on Staten Island, then on to Cinatown in Manhatten, 2 on Long Island and 2 at Hunts Point Market in the Bronx. Even though Manhatten was a road block nightmare due to the UN Summit, I was still empty 2 hours ahead of schedule. From that point things turned into the week from hell. Long story short...I was spose to be home yesterday morning, so I could start getting the truck ready for the "Special Olympics Convoy For Kids" on Saturday morning. Instead, this morning I'm still in Indiana waiting on a backhaul. When I finally get home, it's gonna be a hard push to have the truck ready for Saturday morning.
Damn...this is get'n to be like a show schedule.

This is what it's all about. Very simular to the "Make A Wish" functions.

Glad to hear everything went well.

Don't faint or pass out, but I posted my own pics from my own camera in the Cambridge PR thread under the Dock. :biggrinjester:

Where's Chief been at?

Work has been brutal which is a good thing...even though we are having our 3rd layoff in 16 months beginning Monday. :(

I was in Cambridge last week......got home Monday, boarded a plane for Tampa Tuesday morning and got home at 10:30 last night.

My son leaves for the Air Force Monday, so I'm getting ready for his party tomorrow.

You know what they say...no rest for the wicked.
