Maybe I'm reading my chart wrong, but aren't the Turkey Point/Deale, Deale/Chesapeake Beach, Chesapeake Beach/Lowe's, and Lowe's/Harrisons legs pretty much "the open Bay"? :boxing_smiley:

True, but we figure most out of towners will leave from the Hyatt, which will make it one jump across the Bay and one back. And if conditions are nasty or the boat is slower there will be no need to go to Chesapeake Beach or Lowes, since they are drive thrus. Thus you get all the partying with little of the rough stuff.

Sorry, no special code or link. Great place but a little high price for things. Check to see if Ted can get a discount for the poker runners. He can work miracles over there. That weekend that place will be filled as in the past. So call early. Last I heard, slips were $3.50 ft and rooms were $349 a night.

Anyone that signs up for the poker run SOON can get a Hyatt room at $249. We also have room blocks at several hotels in town that are around $120 a night. Please contact me directly and I will help anyone I can. But I need to release the Hyatt rooms within the week so I need to get this done. And all the rooms are released as of Sept 4 then it is catch as catch can.

I was at Kelley's yesterday hoping to see some people and talk about this run. Nobody there. Clifford was pulling in as we left.

We need to get this word out to the serious runners one by one. This run is too good to miss.

Nobody was there??? Church starts at 1PM...generally they start coming in around 1:30 or 2PM on a so-so weather day.

We are bringing The Chief and great friends of ours. Rob talked to Brian ('79 Flatdeck), he's very, very interested! Not sure if he talked to Jerry (Clifford).

I am going to post something to Dan Adams in the Saber WW thread to see if he's interetsd.

You can buy extra meals, shirts, hands, etc., but there is no mention of how much additional cost to get into the racer party Friday night if you have guests.
