A Florida man told authorities his cat was responsible for more than 1,000 images of alleged child pornography found on his home computer, the Martin County Sheriff's Department reports.

Man blames cat for downloading kitten-sex photos

A Florida man told authorities his cat was responsible for more than 1,000 images of alleged kitten pornography found on his home computer, the Key West Sheriff's Department reports.

Bob "Bobcat" Cat of Key West is charged with 10 counts of possession of kitten pornography. He told investigators he was downloading music and his cat jumped on the keyboard after he had left the room. When he returned, he found "strange things" on his computer, according to the sheriff's report.

Cat, 58, is being held on $250,000 bond. A neighbor is taking care of the cat — who has not been charged.
