I'm kind of oblivious to a lot of stuff around me. Yesterday I went to the grocery store to get some stuff. When did milk go to $6.50 a gallon? I thought milk was like $3.00 a gallon.
When milk gets almost expensive as my race fuel, something needs to change!

gino check your pms...... thats not gonna win post of the week... it could have been like , you took your mag out, ran over teh cat, then backed up and took out an enzo, then the milkd exploided and you could not see and ran over jc.. something like that would have been better....

but check your pms..... lol

beer is cheaper than milk........ on another note, I just had this mental image of Gino deciding to save money by opening a diary farm and getting run over by a cow...... :willy_nilly::eek:

I was at Publixs, not 7-11. I couldn't believe it. I just remembered something i haven't thought of in over 30 years!! When I was a kid growing up in Brooklyn, my mom would send me down the street and on the corner, all by itself was a milk machine. Just like a soda machine but it sold qt's of milk for I think .25. Anyone else remember these.
Those days were so cool. The Milk man deliverered every day along with the Hammer soda man, Charles chips etc. A fat-lazy mans dream!

$6.50?

Are you buying it in a strip club?

LOL.... I just had this conversation last night....

Gino I went grocery shopping in Annapolis last night I paid $3.89 for a gallon of 1% milk??? I asked my girlfriend if it was always that exspensive as I have no idea.... Maybe there calling for snow in Lauderdale this weekend and there jacking the prices up on milk and toilet paper?? :26::seeya::rofl:

I feel your pain! Honey wonders why I always buy "kroger" brands. He went shopping and saw the price of a 2-ltr of coke. $2. Hasn't said anything since. Well...... He always has something to say. Jann

conv. stores typically have better prices on milk the supermarkets, it's a staple and a lose leader for the little stores to get you in the door.

I can barely remember when we still had milk delivered. There was a small cooler box near the front door, half buried in mulch which held 2 bottles. Also remember the heavy wax paper top on the bottle.

Dude, $6.50! - Drink beer!
