Serious Onslaught

Gentlemen, and I use the term loosely... we need to begin formulating our plan of attack for Harrison and St Claire. Who's in, spectating or racing??

I've been plannin' on spectatin' at St. Clair since we were there again last year, but unfortunately it looks like we're not going to make it this year.

Harrison's launching everyone from my marina (Beacon Cove) but I'm gonna be out of town for a wedding and miss it.:ack2:

I do plan to make it up to St Clair again though. It's a great event.

I'd like to get up to see at least one of these - aren't they one-week right after another? How do they compare? - I've seen lots of information for Harrison (harrisonoffshore.com) but I haven't come across too much for St. Clair...

Dean (Wahoo) started harrison going last year, he, and a couple others are really working their butts off to make it a good show, St Claire, it's an event... they go all out, hotel wet/dry pits carnival, concerts and excellent viewing all right on the waterfront. with the 2 orgs comming together should be a good boat count too.

Don't you know the rule about weddings in boating season yet?!?!

I'll be at both. The Sunsation Rally is the same weekend as the Harrison race so I'll be abck and forth between the rally at Metro and the races.

nope... worked last nite till 11 and working today 6am to 11:30 pm..it will be closed by the time I get there.. 107 hours in the last 2 weeks plus school and clinicals...ughhhhhh...

at one time I had a life.... trying to figure out what happened to it...where did it go???

Haven't been to Harrison but were at St Claire in 07 and 08. Had a great time both years and was looking forward to going back this year. Economy has changed that, but will plan to go back next year.

I should have informed these guys (family friends daughter, known her since birth) I'm not flying down for it if it's in the summer.:sifone:



Is anyone going by water to St Clair, or just driving as their's so much going on around the dry pits, etc?

you may have just convinced me to drive down
